Q: When can I come to Bethany?

Our antenatal programme is 16 weeks. You can choose at what stage of your pregnancy you want to start, earlier or later as you prefer.

Q: How old are the women who come to Bethany?

Anything from between 13 to 35 and from all kinds of backgrounds and cultures.

Q: Can I keep up my schooling?

Yes, by correspondence schooling as part of your programme.

Q: How much does it cost?

Your board is usually covered by WINZ, organised for you by our staff, and includes a weekly personal allowance.

Q: Who provides my ante-natal care?

Bethany provides this, or you can retain your own midwife.

Q: Do I have to live at Bethany during my pregnancy?

No, you can live elsewhere, and attend the day sessions at Bethany.

Q: Can I have visitors?

Yes, though visiting times are in place.

Q: How do I get in to Bethany?

Call us in confidence and we’ll arrange for you to come in and see if Bethany is the right place for you.
