The Post Natal Unit is run by registered nursing staff who supervise the overall running of the unit.

With the ability to accommodate seven new mothers and newborn babies (up to three months of age), each client has her own room and shares communal lounge/kitchenette and utility area designed for baby bathing and changing. Everything necessary for the care of your baby is provided for you while you remain at Bethany.

New mums are encouraged to take full responsibility for their baby's needs including washing of nappies and clothing,and being supported and encouraged towards a regular day to day routine.

One on one support is available to new mothers to help establish breast feeding and the unit boasts practical and informative resources to encourage this.
